Who Are We?
Ash & Elm Cider Co. was opened in the summer of 2016 by husband and wife team Aaron and Andréa Homoya. As a company, Ash & Elm Cider Co. strives to make quality ciders using apples from around the Midwest and help cultivate the market for craft cider in Indianapolis.
We say that we are 'Rooted in Tradition' because cider was actually one of the main beverages consumed by the pioneers in the early days of the American settlement. One of the things we are passionate about is supporting local orchards and seeking opportunities to restore heirloom cider apple varieties to their land.
We are also proud to be part of a new tradition of American cider, which uses eating apples to create fresh, vibrant ciders that are 'Crafted for Today'. Our modern cider takes influences from old world traditions, wine, and craft beer. We hope you like what you find!
Ash & Elm ciders are made from 100% pure apple juice, provided by regional family orchards in Indiana and Michigan. We have different ciders for different tastes, with semi-sweet and dry house ciders on-tap at all times. We also have rotating seasonal ciders as well as special edition premium ciders available in our tasting room. Please see the Cider On Tap page for the list of what we’re currently pouring.
Andréa Homoya, Founder and CEO
Andréa handles the day-to-day operations of Ash & Elm Cider Co. With a background in sales, consulting, and management, she loves converting cider skeptics into fans, making sure everything is running smoothly in the tasting room, and working with local bars and restaurants in the Indy area.
Aaron Homoya, Founder and CFO
As the Chief Fermentation Officer, Aaron is responsible for creating and making all of your favorite Ash & Elm Cider Co. ciders. Aaron is an electrical engineer by day and has spent the last dozen years fermenting beer, wine, and ciders.
